Long before “earth friendly” became a hot topic, Green PlanetTM Bio Bags was doing something about it. For over 7 years our research and development team in partnership with our manufacturing partners have been working on ways to produce packaging that will be friendly to our environment.
We are proud to say that we are one of the few packaging companies that are doing this, and the results have been unbelievable! We can now manufacture bags that have the same capabilities as plastic (in fact they are even stronger than plastic), but are made from 100% organic material. This means that when the bags are composted properly, they will break down in as little as 45 days. Green PlanetTM Bio Bags are 100% biodegradable, and are certified by the United States Composting Council. They meet the ASTM 6400 standard (American Society for Testing Material) which is the bench mark for biodegradable bags.
